Presiding Judge Jessica Gallivan, wishes to advise the public and the members of the Virgin Islands Bar Association of the elevation of Magistrate Judge Venetia H. Velazquez to serve as a general jurisdiction Judge of the Superior Court of the Virgin Islands. Judge Velazquez was unanimously confirmed on November 19, 2025, by the 36th Legislature of the Virgin Islands to serve a 6-year term as Judge of the Superior Court of the Virgin Islands in the District of St. Croix.
